About Raipur

Raipur is the capital of Chhattisgarh, located near the center of a large plain, sometimes referred as the” rice bowl of India” where hundreds of varieties of rice are grown. It was Formerly a part of Madhya Pradesh before the state of Chhattisgarh was formed on November 1, 2000.

Kalinga University is established by the Government of Chhattisgarh as a Private University and it is notified in the Chhattisgarh State Gazette on March 25, 2011.The University is approved by the UGC, New Delhi under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act of 1956.
