To educate our students and local communities about the importance of sustainable groundwater management practices, the Department of Zoology, in collaboration with the Central Groundwater Board (CGWB), Raipur, organised a Public Awareness Program on Groundwater Quality and Monitoring. Students and faculty members from Zoology, Botany, Biotechnology, and BBA participated in the program. To build engagement among participants, slogan-writing and extempore competitions were conducted on innovative ideas and powerful messages. The guests were Dr. Rajni Kant Sharma (Scientist-C, CGWB, NCCR, Raipur) and Dr. Priyanka Sonbarse (Scientist-D, CGWB, NCCR, Raipur), Senior Scientists from the Jal Shakti Department.
