Dr. Shilpi Shrivastava is as a Professor & Head Department of Chemistry at Kalinga University, Atal Nagar, Raipur. She is Ph.D in Chemistry, M. Phil (Chemistry), M. Sc. (Chemistry) and B.Ed.

Her topic of research was “Antihyperglycemic activity of Terpenoids from fresh water algae”. Her area of expertise is in Phytochemistry. Her technical skills show her expertise on Chemical techniques.

She has over 21 years of experience in Teaching under graduate and post graduate students. She has the experience of working in many areas related to member of moderation committee in Exam Cell, Center superintendent in many offline exams. Member of BOS and many such academic and non- academic work of the department. She has a subject expert in BOS in reputed Organization and member of Academic Council.

She has published 3 books & 1 book chapter and 32 Research papers in national and international journals. She has published one patent. She has presented several papers in national and international conferences and also attended 30 seminars/ conferences and 15 workshops. She has guided the PhD research scholar.

She has organized a National Conference as a Convener. She has been organizing committee member of several national and international seminars. She is associated with many professional bodies. She has received several National & International Research Awards. She has been a true mentor to many students. Honesty, simplicity and sincerity are her greatest strengths. She has delivered many guest lectures in reputed organizations. She has been recognized as resource person in various seminars. She is also invited in various colleges affiliated to the universities under government of Chhattisgarh and various private universities as external examiner.
