ISR & Extension Activities
The University promotes regular engagement of faculty, students and staff with neighborhood community for their holistic development and sustained community development through various activities. Various awareness programs, workshops, panel discussions, roadshows with themes like cleanliness, green environment & tree plantation, gender sensitization, traffic rule awareness and empowerment of girls and women are organized. For all these campaigns the university has created a number of platforms like NSS, NCC, YI wing of CII besides the departmental activities.
Kalinga University has adopted five nearby villages: (Kotni, Palaud, Kuhera, Parsada, Kotrabhata) for secure access of the youth of these villages to employment/self-employment and engage themselves in pursuit of higher education. An awareness of clean drinking water, health and hygiene were given to the communities of these villages. The university has facilitated the students of these villages with library and broadband facilities to keep them at par with other students. Besides this, NSS, NCC and YI wing of the university promotes the following activities in a number of other nearby villages-
