Dr. Krushna Chandra is an Associate Professor of Law, HoD, Post-Graduate Studies - Department of Law at Kalinga University, New Raipur, Chhattisgarh. He is Ph.D. in Law, M.A., LLM and B.A. Honours and has Teaching experience of 18 years.

Prior to joining Kalinga University, New Raipur, Chhattisgarh, he has taught at University School of Law and Legal Studies. He has been a Law Faculty under Sambalpur University, Odisha, and in Department of Law, Berhampur University, Ganjam, Odisha. He is also a Resource Person to Judicial Academy, Prisons Academy and Police Academy.

Dr. Krushna Chandra has area of interest and specialization in Commercial Law. At Kalinga University, he teaches Commercial law, including advanced courses to students of the Undergraduate and Post-graduate Programs.

He is also the Director to Legal Cell and Service of Kalinga University. His research interests includes research designing and formulation of syllabus, Insurance Law, Banking Law, Sentencing Gender Bias and the Law, Social and Legal Jurisprudence, Social Transformation, Judicial Analysis and Judicial Process of Law, Reproductive Justice, Excessive Under trial and Pre-trial Detention, Procedural Law and studying the impact of the Criminal Justice System in its interface with vulnerable and disempowered groups, Motor Vehicle Act, Consumer Protection Law, Law of Tort and Human Rights Law.
